Hello Darling,
My name is Brooke Hague. For close to 27 of my 39 years, I felt as though walked this earth without a purpose. Sure, there were moments I would catch glimpses of who I am and what my purpose was, but I never took it seriously. I’ve loved recklessly, battled addictions, been to prison, failed and succeeded multiple times and took myself around the block ten times over searching for who the fuck I was because I had NO IDEA where to even begin.
Every road I traveled down, I would get a feeling of “displacement” and would ultimately inherit the fabulous “Imposter Syndrome”. I didn’t feel like I belonged anywhere and when I would try a new lifestyle, clothing trend, hairstyle…I felt as though I was acting like I was someone else. This quickly spiraled into a cycle of constant change without truly feeling connected to anything.
Then it happened.
While dealing with a dramatic divorce situation, I ventured out on a solo 2-day road trip to the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range near Crestone, Colorado- one of the United States most spiritual ranges. Not only was it home to the Ute Native Americans, but its mountain range is also deemed incredibly sacred for healing. While I was there, I surfed The Great Sand Dunes and soaked my mind, body and soul in the hot springs, basking in the newfound journey of aligning with my purpose.
I had never experienced such a cathartic connection with myself and the universe. I had a startling revelation that I had to leave my home and life that I had built behind, immediately. I realized that to truly connect with my divine purpose, I had to start over completely and find what made me feel whole, but this time with my entire heart.
Because I discovered what it felt like to relate to the universe, I used that ethereal feeling to recreate myself and that came with a soul reckoning vision.
To be the best version of myself, I had to create a vision of what that looked like. I began to unravel the mess in my head. I asked myself one question, “What is my vision?” I became extremely overwhelmed with the spiral of endless possibilities and wanted to stop thinking.
Do I really want a 3 bedroom house or do I want a 5 bedroom house?
What kind of car do I drive?
Do I want to live in a different state or do I want to stay rooted to my homeland?
What if I fail?
What if I am in way over my head?
How do I become who I want to be and financially free with the financial spiderweb I am in?
Am I even worthy of a healthy relationship?
How do I even begin to live a life of purpose while getting paid to do it?
I had to take all these questions and completely overhaul my life. To be the best version of me, this woman in this vision…I had to make some serious fucking changes.
I left the relationship. I burned down my old life. I still didn’t feel as though I was living my purpose. I was in a dead-end IT career, struggling to make ends meet. Living in a ghetto apartment. Feeling unfulfilled. Depressed.
Why wasn’t the vision I so delicately created working? I felt defeated yet again, but I did not give up. I had done the work, cultivated the vision and lived “as if” but I still had this raunchy negative belief system that was holding me back from my dream of living with aligned purpose. It was then that a friend came to me with a career opportunity in coaching. The only catch was to completely give up that IT career, and fall into a new purpose, risking everything for my vision. I was terrified and I got the job.
The problem wasn't that my vision wasn't working. The problem was that I was trying to build a new life while still identifying as the woman from my old one.
This is where the real inner work started. I wasn’t getting paid yet I knew I had to keep going with this. Eviction notices landed on my door. Disconnection notices and bills were piling up in the mail. But I still had this relentless faith that everything was going to work out–because IT HAD TO. I wasn’t giving myself an option to fail this time.
Every thought of unworthiness and feeling like an imposter started to melt away as I shifted my energy into the new version of me. The woman who gets paid to exist. The woman that changes lives. The woman that has a delusional faith that everything does fucking work out. The woman that doesn’t let negative beliefs like “everybody leaves eventually”, “bad things always happen to me” or “I am not enough” ruin her fucking mission.
Fast forward 6 months and my paychecks started to roll in.
I moved.
I got my dream car.
I gave my daughter the graduation of her dreams.
I went on a solo trip to Peru.
And here I sit, in my back yard, telling you my story today.
This story isn't really about everything I got. It's about what had to change underneath me before I could hold any of it. If you've landed here, I'm guessing there's something underneath your life asking for attention too.
Maybe you have the vision but can't understand why you keeps sabotaging it.
Maybe you are successful on paper but disconnected underneath.
Maybe you know you are meant for something different, but you don’t know who that version of yourself is yet.
Maybe you have changed relationships/jobs/cities/hair/styles/etc, a hundred times just like I did and still feel that same displacement.
No matter what your story is, I am here to help guide you into a life of aligned purpose.
So many of us reach for change while staying exactly the same underneath. That's a tender place to be, and a hard one to grow from and I am here to help you do just that.
You don't create a different life simply by wanting one. At some point, you must become aligned with the person who can actually live it and hold onto it.
Welcome to Soulcravt.
